Hey y’all! My name is Lindsay. I am a twenty-something first-grade teacher living in the Queen City of North Carolina. I was born and raised here in the South. I attended college right down the road at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte obtaining two degrees – Elementary Education and English. Being a Southern gal and all, I’m sure you could have guessed, I have an astounding obsession with sweet tea and warm days spent on a comfy porch swing with a book I can’t put down.
I have been wanting to start a blog for a while now. I will be using this blog mainly as my own personal outlet for all my daily rambles, in all contexts of the word. Exploring this beautiful world aimlessly with no particular route and to write my everyday thoughts in a wandering fashion. Sounds fun, right? 🙂 Traveling and words are two of the things I love most in this world. I have an extreme fondness for words; for the way they can be strung together to express all kinds of feelings – happiness, love, confusion – any feeling, good, bad or indifferent. The power words have is overwhelmingly significant. And truly, I think my wiener dog Frank is getting quite tired of hearing my everyday rants and rambles. I thought the new year would be a perfect opportunity to get this ball rolling. I am very new to this, so hang in there with me and we will learn together. Thank you for joining me on this journey!
There’s always something to write about. If there’s not, then you need to live life more aggressively.
I am starting my new year by living more aggressively.
